Passkeys
WebPasskeys use WebAuthn-compatible authenticators such as Touch ID, Windows Hello, security keys, or other hardware-backed credentials. In the main ZynoSuite user interface, passkeys are not currently exposed as a general sign-in option for all users.
Current Availability
ZynoSuite's authentication platform recognizes passkey/WebAuthn MFA, but the standard web sign-in screen currently presents:
- Email and password
- Microsoft SSO
- Google SSO
- Remember-me session option
If your organization uses Microsoft Entra or Google Workspace, passkeys may still be available through that provider's own sign-in and MFA policies.
ZynoRMM Hardware Authenticators
Passkey-style hardware authenticators are used in ZynoRMM secure workflows when ZynoRMM is enabled. ZynoRMM setup can show Register Device for Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, YubiKey, or another FIDO2 security key. Later secure operations can show Authenticate before remote control, terminal access, file management, or similar actions.
That ZynoRMM authenticator flow is separate from general ZynoSuite account sign-in.
What Users Should Do
If you were told to use a passkey:
- Confirm whether the prompt is coming from Microsoft, Google, or a ZynoRMM workflow.
- Follow the provider or workflow prompt on the screen.
- Use the same authenticator you registered for that provider or workflow.
If you are looking for a passkey setup screen for normal ZynoSuite web sign-in, that screen is not currently available in the main app.
