ZynoTalk Mobile

ZynoTalk Mobile is a dedicated VoIP calling app that lets you make and receive business calls from your phone using your ZynoTalk numbers. It is a separate app from ZynoSuite Mobile, purpose-built for voice communication with deep OS-level integration.

Why a Separate App?

VoIP calling demands tight integration with your phone's operating system — handling incoming calls on the lock screen, running in the background, integrating with the native dialer and call history, and managing audio routing between speakers, earpieces, and Bluetooth devices. These requirements go well beyond what a general-purpose business app can provide.

By building ZynoTalk Mobile as a standalone app, it can:

• Register as a native calling app, so incoming calls ring like regular phone calls with full lock-screen and notification support
• Run in the background and stay connected to the VoIP service, ensuring you never miss a call
• Integrate with the native call log so your business calls appear alongside personal calls in your phone's recent calls list
• Handle audio routing natively, supporting speakerphone, earpiece, wired headsets, and Bluetooth audio

ZynoSuite Mobile handles CRM, sales, inventory, and other business features. ZynoTalk Mobile handles calls. Together, they give you a complete mobile business solution.

Key Features

Make and Receive Calls

Place outbound calls and receive inbound calls using any ZynoTalk number assigned to you. Calls use your data connection (Wi-Fi or cellular), so you can make business calls from anywhere without using your personal phone number.

Call History

View your complete business call history within the app. Each entry shows the caller or recipient, call duration, timestamp, and whether the call was inbound or outbound. Calls also appear in your phone's native call log for quick redial.

Voicemail

Access your ZynoTalk voicemail inbox directly in the app. Listen to messages, read transcriptions (when enabled in your ZynoTalk settings), and return calls with a single tap.

Call Transfer

Transfer active calls to another team member or extension. ZynoTalk Mobile supports both blind transfers (send the call immediately) and attended transfers (speak with the recipient before completing the transfer).

Multi-Number Support

If you have access to multiple ZynoTalk numbers, you can select which number to use for outbound calls. Inbound calls ring on all your assigned numbers.

• iOS: iPhone running iOS 15 or later
• Android: devices running Android 10 (API level 29) or later

Getting Started

To install and configure ZynoTalk Mobile, see the Installation & Setup guide. You will need an active ZynoTalk number assigned to your user account — your administrator can set this up from Admin > Talk > Numbers & Access.

Works Alongside ZynoSuite

ZynoTalk Mobile is designed to complement ZynoSuite Mobile, not replace it. A typical workflow looks like this:

1. You receive a call on ZynoTalk Mobile from a customer
2. During or after the call, switch to ZynoSuite Mobile to look up the customer's contact record, add notes, or process a sale
3. Call details sync back to ZynoSuite automatically and appear in the contact's history and the Talk call log

Both apps share the same ZynoSuite account, so there is no extra setup or syncing required.
