Payment Terminals

Workstation

Use payment terminals with ZynoWorkstation to process in-person card payments from Salespoint. In the payment modal, this option appears as CC Terminal.

Admin Setup Required

An administrator must connect Stripe, register card terminals, and assign them to the correct location before staff can use terminal payments.

Before You Begin

• ZynoWorkstation is installed and registered.
• The workstation is signed in to the correct organization.
• Stripe payments are set up under Admin > ZynoSales > Payments, on the Stripe Account tab.
• Card payments are enabled under Admin > ZynoSales > Payments, on the Payment Methods tab.
• The terminal is registered under Admin > ZynoSales > Payments, on the Card Terminals tab.
• The terminal is assigned to the correct location.

Register A Card Terminal

Administrators register terminals from the Card Terminals page.

1. Open Admin > ZynoSales > Payments.
2. Select Card Terminals.
3. Select Register Terminal.
4. Choose the Location where the terminal will be used.
5. Enter a Terminal Name. Use a friendly name such as Front Desk Terminal or Register 2.
6. Enter the Registration Code from the terminal device.
7. Select Register.

After registration, the terminal appears in the terminal list with its name and location.

Edit Or Remove A Terminal

1. Open Admin > ZynoSales > Payments, then select the Card Terminals tab.
2. Select the terminal.
3. Change the Terminal Name and select Save, or use the delete action to remove it.

Take A Terminal Payment

1. Open ZynoSales > Salespoint in Workstation.
2. Add items to the sale.
3. Select Pay.
4. Select CC Terminal.
5. If more than one terminal is available, select the correct terminal.
6. Ask the contact to follow the terminal prompts.
7. Wait for Salespoint to show Payment Successful.

If only one terminal is available, Salespoint may start the payment on that terminal automatically.

Common Issues

Problem	What To Check
CC Terminal is missing	Confirm you are using Workstation, not a browser tab or mobile app.
No terminals are listed	Register a terminal under Admin > ZynoSales > Payments, on the Card Terminals tab.
Terminal is in the wrong place	Check the terminal location in Card Terminals.
Stripe setup is incomplete	Open Admin > ZynoSales > Payments, then finish setup on the Stripe Account tab.
Payment fails on the terminal	Retry the payment, then check terminal connectivity and Stripe status.
