How Check-Ins Work

Workstation

Check-ins let staff know when a contact has arrived. In the current interface, check-ins appear on ZynoWorkstation as a waiting notification in the sidebar dock rather than as a full contact history screen.

Permission Required

You need access to ZynoSuite and the contact profile to respond to check-ins.

Where Check-Ins Appear

When there are unacknowledged check-ins for the current Workstation install location, the sidebar dock shows a row like 1 check-in waiting or 2 check-ins waiting.

The row also shows the oldest waiting check-in time.

Respond To A Check-In

  1. Select the check-in row in the sidebar dock.
  2. Review the Check-Ins popover.
  3. Select the contact's check-in.

ZynoSuite acknowledges the unacknowledged check-ins for that contact and opens the contact profile.

Check-In Sources

Check-ins can be created by configured check-in sources such as display, mobile, or install-based workflows. The staff-facing CRM screen currently focuses on receiving and acknowledging those arrivals.

Location Matching

The dock row appears for check-ins that match the current Workstation install location. If a check-in is expected but does not appear, confirm that the workstation is assigned to the correct location.
