Softphone
WebWorkstationThe softphone lets you make and manage voice calls directly inside ZynoSuite without a physical phone. The phone dock lives in the shared sidebar, so it can stay available while you move between ZynoSuite apps.

- Use the test sound and microphone meter to confirm the devices are working.

Manage Multiple Calls
If you start or receive another call while one is active, the phone dock shows an Active Calls list. Select a call to switch to it. You can place a connected call on hold, use New Call while the active call is held, and return to the held call when needed.
Use The Keypad
Open Keypad during a connected call to send DTMF tones. Use this for phone menus, conference codes, voicemail prompts, and other automated systems. The keypad is disabled while the call is on hold.
Common Issues
| Problem | What To Check |
|---|---|
| The call button uses Desk Phone only | The selected extension may not have softphone permission. |
| The other person cannot hear you | Confirm the browser microphone permission and selected microphone device. |
| You cannot hear the other person | Check the selected speaker output and your operating system volume. |
| Keypad digits appear in the number field | The call is not connected yet. DTMF tones are only sent during a connected call. |
