ZynoTalk Mobile

ZynoTalk Mobile is the dedicated mobile app for ZynoTalk calling. It is separate from ZynoSuite Mobile so it can handle mobile calling, background ringing, and phone audio integration.

Permission Required

You need a ZynoSuite account with ZynoTalk access. Mobile calls require a SIP extension with mobile call routing enabled in My Numbers & Notifications.

Sign In

1. Open ZynoTalk Mobile.
2. Sign in with the same account you use for ZynoSuite.
3. Complete MFA or SSO prompts if your organization requires them.
4. Allow the app to finish connecting to your organization's ZynoTalk system.

Allow Phone Permissions

When prompted, allow:

Permission	Why It Matters
Microphone	Required for call audio.
Notifications	Required for incoming call and missed activity alerts.
Phone permission on Android	Required by Android for placing and answering calls through the phone system.
Camera and photo library	Used only when attaching photos to picture messages.

If you deny microphone, notification, or Android phone access, open your device settings and allow it for ZynoTalk before trying to call.

Enable Mobile Calls

Mobile calling is controlled from ZynoSuite Web or Workstation:

1. Open ZynoTalk in ZynoSuite.
2. Select the gear control for My Numbers & Notifications next to the number selector.
3. Find the SIP extension you want to ring on mobile.
4. Enable Mobile Notifications for that extension.
5. Set Mobile Calls to All Calls or Direct Calls.
6. Save.

Use All Calls when ring group calls should ring your mobile device. Use Direct Calls when only direct calls and transfers to your extension should ring.

Verify Setup

Ask another user to call or transfer a test call to your extension. If the app rings, answer and confirm both sides can hear each other.

Common Issues

Problem	What To Check
The app signs in but does not ring	Confirm Mobile Calls is enabled for the extension.
Calls ring but audio does not work	Allow microphone access and check Bluetooth or headset routing.
Android cannot place or answer calls	Allow the phone permission requested by ZynoTalk in Android settings.
Notifications are missing	Allow notifications in device settings and enable Mobile Notifications in ZynoSuite.
The wrong calls ring mobile	Switch between All Calls and Direct Calls for that extension.
