Bulk Actions

WebWorkstation

When you manage a lot of screens, doing things one at a time gets slow. Bulk Actions apply a single action to every device you've selected in the Devices list.

Permission Required

You need the Configure Displays permission to use bulk actions. See Permissions & Troubleshooting.

Selecting Devices

In the Devices list, tick the checkbox on each device you want — or use the header checkbox to select everything currently shown. Tip: filter the list first (by location, group, or platform) so the header checkbox selects exactly the set you mean.

With at least one device selected, the Bulk Actions button appears.

Available Actions

  • Set Display Group — assign every selected device's screens to a group in one step.
  • Override Content — push the same live override (a message or media) to all selected screens.
  • Clear Override — remove active overrides from the selected screens.
  • Reset Display — reload content on the selected screens.
  • Exit App — close the ZynoDisplay player app on the selected devices.

How Bulk Actions Run

Each device is handled independently, so one slow or offline device won't hold up the rest. If some devices can't complete the action, ZynoDisplay reports which ones and why, while the successful ones still go through. Actions that talk to a screen in real time (overrides, reset, exit) only affect connected devices.
