Status & Monitoring
WebWorkstationThe Devices list is also your monitoring dashboard. It shows, at a glance, which screens are online, which need attention, and how each one is doing. Status updates in real time as devices connect and disconnect.
Connection State
Each device shows a connection status:
- Connected — the screen is online and in contact with ZynoSuite.
- Disconnected — the screen is offline. The list shows how long ago it was last seen.
A connected device also reports a sync state, indicating whether it has received the latest configuration you've saved.
Last Seen
For disconnected devices, the list shows the last time the screen connected or disconnected, so you can tell the difference between "offline for a minute" and "offline for days".
Battery & Power
On phones and tablets, the list shows the battery level and whether the device is charging. This is handy for screens running on a tablet that isn't permanently plugged in.
Storage
Where a device reports it, you can see storage usage on the device's Identity tab — useful when a screen caches a lot of media.
Missing Screens
If a device stops reporting one of its screens, that screen is flagged as missing instead of being removed, so its setup is preserved. See Screens & Outputs.
Finding Devices
The Devices list has a search box and filters so you can focus on what matters:
- Search by device name.
- Location — show screens at one site.
- Display Group — show screens in a group, or those not in any group.
- Status — online or offline.
- Platform — filter by device type.
Use Refresh to re‑pull the list on demand; otherwise it updates on its own as devices change state.
Common Issues
| Problem | What To Check |
|---|---|
| A device is Disconnected | Confirm the screen has power and network, and that the ZynoDisplay app is running. |
| A device is connected but not synced | Give it a moment to pull the latest configuration; if it persists, check the network. |
| Battery isn't shown | Battery is reported by phones and tablets; other devices don't report it. |
| Can't find a device | Clear the filters and search by name; confirm it was registered. |
