Set Up ZynoDisplay on Amazon Fire TV
WebWorkstationZynoDisplay runs on Amazon Fire TV sticks and devices. Install the player from the Amazon Appstore, register the screen, then turn off the Fire TV screen saver so your content stays on around the clock.
Before You Begin
- The Fire TV is set up, signed in to an Amazon account, and connected to your network.
- The screen has reliable power and internet.
- You have the Register Device permission in ZynoSuite. See Permissions & Troubleshooting.
1. Install the App
- From the Fire TV home screen, open Find (the search icon) or say ZynoDisplay into the remote.
- Search for ZynoDisplay.
- Select the app and choose Get / Download.
- Open ZynoDisplay once it installs.
2. Register the Screen
On first launch the app shows a 9‑digit registration code. Enter it in ZynoSuite to claim the screen — see Registering a Device. Once registered, the screen pulls down whatever content you assign it.
3. Change These Settings (Keep It Always-On)
Turn off the screen saver
After a few minutes of inactivity Fire TV shows a screen saver over your content. A signage screen never gets remote input, so it appears regularly.
- Open Settings, then Display & Sounds.
- Select Screen Saver, then Start Time (or Start After).
- Set it to Never.
TIP
The exact menu wording varies a little between Fire TV models and Fire OS versions, but the Screen Saver controls are always under Display & Sounds.
Keep the device awake
While ZynoDisplay is playing video content the Fire TV stays active. If your screen mostly shows still images and you find the device sleeping, keep it on a constant power source and confirm the screen saver is set to Never.
Remote Controls
Fire TV does not support ZynoDisplay's remote device controls. You still get full content control — assigning content, scheduling, and live overrides — from ZynoSuite. See Remote Control & Management.
Common Issues
