Identity Provider (SSO)
WebWorkstationThe Identity Provider page connects ZynoSuite to your organization's existing sign-in system. When an identity provider is linked, users can sign in through that provider instead of managing a separate ZynoSuite password.
Open this page from Admin > Identity & Access > Identity Provider.
Supported Providers
The current setup screen supports:
| Provider | Use When |
|---|---|
| Microsoft Entra (M365, Azure) | Your organization manages users through Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Entra |
| Google Workspace | Your organization manages users through Google Workspace |
Link a Provider
- Open Admin > Identity & Access > Identity Provider.
- Choose Microsoft Entra (M365, Azure) or Google Workspace.
- Select Link.
- Complete the provider authorization flow in the provider window.
- Return to ZynoSuite after setup completes.
After a provider is linked, this page shows the provider organization name and the connected provider type.
Auto-Link Existing Users
Use Auto-Link Existing Users after you connect an identity provider and already have ZynoSuite users whose email addresses match users in that provider.
Auto-linking is useful when:
- Users were created manually before SSO was enabled.
- You want matching existing users to use their provider account going forward.
- You are migrating a team from password sign-in to provider sign-in.
Review your user list before and after auto-linking so you know which accounts are now tied to the provider.
Unlink a Provider
Use Unlink only when you are intentionally disconnecting SSO for the organization.
Unlinking converts provider-created users into direct ZynoSuite users and removes provider-provisioned groups and their associated permissions. Before unlinking, make sure your administrators can still sign in and that critical roles or permissions have been recreated directly in ZynoSuite if needed.
User Sign-In Experience
When a user enters their email on the ZynoSuite sign-in page, ZynoSuite checks whether that user or organization is connected to an identity provider. If SSO applies, the user is sent through the provider sign-in flow. If SSO does not apply, ZynoSuite continues with password sign-in.
Users can also choose Sign in with Microsoft or Sign in with Google from the sign-in screen.
