ZynoSales Categories define the product category structure used by Salespoint and the Products catalog. Use this page to create, rename, move, and delete categories.

Open this page from Admin > ZynoSales > Categories.

ZynoSales Categories appear as an indented hierarchy, so administrators can see parent and child categories before editing.

Category List

Categories are shown as an indented hierarchy. Top-level categories appear first, and child categories appear under their parent category.

Select a category name to edit it. The parent picker shows category paths so you can distinguish categories with the same name under different parents.

Add A Category

1. Select Add Category.
2. Choose a Parent, or leave it as (none) for a top-level category.
3. Enter the category Name.
4. Select Create.

Edit A Category

1. Select the category name.
2. Change the Parent or Name.
3. Select Save.

Changing the parent moves the category in the hierarchy. Products assigned to the category remain assigned to it.

Delete A Category

1. Select the category.
2. Select the delete icon.
3. Confirm the deletion.

Before deleting, confirm that products are not still assigned to the category or that your team is prepared to reassign them.
