Creating Gift Cards

Create a gift card by selling a gift card product in Salespoint. The card is activated when the sale is completed.

Permission Required

You need Salespoint access. Gift card sales must be configured for your organization.

Add A Gift Card To A Sale

1. Open ZynoSales > Salespoint.
2. Add the gift card product to the cart.
3. In the gift card details, choose the target:
   • Enter an existing 16-digit gift card number.
   • Choose Generate new gift card number.
4. Choose the delivery method.
5. Complete the sale.

For an existing physical card, scan or enter the card number. For a new digital gift card, ZynoSuite generates the card number.

Delivery Methods

Delivery	Use When
Existing physical card	You are loading value onto a card the customer already has
E-mail digital certificate	The recipient should receive the certificate by email
Print certificate	You are using ZynoWorkstation and want to print a certificate

When emailing or printing, you can enter a recipient name. Email delivery also requires a recipient email address.

After The Sale

After payment is complete:

• The gift card appears in ZynoSales > Gift Cards.
• The card shows its initial value and current balance.
• You can print, email, or download the certificate from the Gift Cards page.

Common Issues

Problem	What To Check
Existing card number is rejected	Confirm the number is 16 digits
Email delivery cannot continue	Enter a valid recipient email address
Print option is missing	Use ZynoWorkstation with printing configured
Gift card is not activated	Confirm the sale was completed successfully
