Creating Products
WebWorkstationMobileCreate products from ZynoSales > Products. Products can be standard sale items, bookable services, packages, or memberships.
Permission Required
You need ZynoSales product edit access. Inventory tracking also requires ZynoInventory edit access.
Create A Product
- Open ZynoSales > Products.
- Select New Product.
- Choose the product Type.
- Choose a Category.
- Enter the product Name.
- Enter optional Display As, SKU, and UPC.
- Configure pricing, account, tax, availability, and options.
- Complete any type-specific tabs.
- Select Save.
Product type cannot be changed after creation.
Product Types
| Type | Use For |

| Standard | Normal items or services sold in Salespoint |
| Bookable | Products that schedule or join a booking activity |
| Package | A bundle made from other products |
| Membership | A membership product with membership configuration |
Gift card products are created through gift card workflows rather than the normal product editor.
Product Overview Fields

| SKU | Internal stock or catalog identifier |
| UPC | Barcode value; must be a 12-digit UPC or 13-digit EAN |

| Price | Fixed price amount |
| Financial Account | Accounting category for product revenue |
| Tax Group | Tax group applied to the product |
The UPC field includes an auto-generate option. Use it when the product needs a generated code instead of a manufacturer UPC.
Availability And Options
Use Show in salespoint to control whether the product appears in Salespoint. Use Not Before and Not After dates when a product should be available only during a date window.
Use Enable tipping when the product should prompt for tips during card terminal payment.
Standard products can also be tied to a credit pool so members can purchase the product with credits.

Common Issues
| Problem | What To Check |

| Product does not appear in Salespoint | Confirm Show in salespoint is selected and date availability allows it |
