Package Items
WebWorkstationMobilePackage products bundle multiple products into one sellable product. Use packages for kits, bundles, multi-item experiences, or fixed combinations that staff should add to a sale with one selection.
Permission Required
You need ZynoSales product edit access to create or edit package products.
Create A Package Product
- Open ZynoSales > Products.
- Select New Product.
- Set Type to Package.
- Choose a category and enter the package name.
- Open the Package tab.
- Add component products.
- Set each component Qty and Price.
- Reorder items if needed.
- Select Save.
Product type cannot be changed after creation, so choose Package when the product is first created.
Package Pricing
Package price is calculated from the package components. In the Product tab, the price appears as Price (Calculated).
For each component, you can:
- Keep the default product price.
- Enter a custom component price.
- Set quantity.
- Reorder the component list.
The package total is the sum of each component quantity times its component price.
How Packages Appear In Salespoint
When a package is added to a sale, the cart shows the package parent item and the package child items beneath it. Transaction detail uses the same grouped display so staff can see what was included.
Limits
Package products do not use the product inventory tracking tab. If the components are inventory-linked products, track stock on the component products or linked inventory items instead.
Common Issues
