Redeeming & Balance
WebWorkstationMobileRedeem gift cards from the Salespoint payment modal. ZynoSuite checks the card number and applies available balance to the sale.
Permission Required
You need Salespoint access. The Gift Card payment method must be enabled by an administrator.
Redeem A Gift Card
- Build the sale in ZynoSales > Salespoint.
- Select Pay.
- Enter the amount to collect.
- Choose Gift Card.
- Scan or type the gift card number.
- Wait for validation.
- Complete the payment.
If the card has enough balance, ZynoSuite shows what the balance will be after the payment.
Partial Balances
If the card balance is lower than the payment amount, ZynoSuite can apply the remaining card balance. The sale will still have a balance due, so collect the rest with another payment method.
Check Balance
To check current value, open ZynoSales > Gift Cards and find the card by number. The list shows Current Value.
Common Issues
| Problem | What To Check |
|---|---|
| No card found | Confirm the card number was entered or scanned correctly |
| Card has less balance than expected | Review the Current Value in ZynoSales > Gift Cards |
| Gift Card payment is missing | Ask an administrator to enable Gift Card under payment methods |
| Sale still has a balance | Take another payment for the remaining amount |
