Tabs (Saving Sales)

WebWorkstationMobile

Tabs are in-progress sales that you save for later. Use tabs for quotes, bookings, delayed pickup, future scheduled items, customer deposits, and any sale that should not be completed immediately.

Permission Required

You need Salespoint access. Opening some saved tabs may also require permission for bookings, transactions, or fulfillment depending on the tab contents.

Save A Tab

  1. Open ZynoSales > Salespoint.
  2. Add items to the cart.
  3. Attach a customer if the tab should be tied to a customer record.
  4. Use the cart actions menu and select Save Tab.

If the tab contains future scheduled items, the main cart button may also show Save Tab. When the tab has not changed since the last save, the button can show Close Tab instead.

If the tab contains item alerts, ZynoSuite asks you to confirm before saving.

Open A Saved Tab

  1. Open ZynoSales > Salespoint.
  2. Select Open Saved Tab when no active sale is in the cart.
  3. Use the tabs at the top of the saved-tabs window:
ViewShows
RecentRecently edited tabs that are not locked
UnscheduledSaved tabs without scheduled items
TodayTabs with items scheduled for today
FutureTabs with future scheduled items
PastSaved tabs with past scheduled items
AbandonedOpen tabs left without activity for a long period
ActiveTabs currently open on another Salespoint

You can also use Search by sale # to find a specific sale number.

Locked Tabs

If another user is editing a tab, ZynoSuite may warn that the tab is locked. Choose whether to take over only when you are sure the other user is no longer working on it.

Closed And Reopened Sales

Closed sales appear with reduced opacity in the saved-tabs window. Selecting a closed sale opens transaction details first. If you reopen a sale from transaction details, Salespoint shows that the sale was originally closed and can offer Revert Changes from the cart actions menu.

Delete A Tab

You can delete a tab from the cart actions menu only when it has no payments. Paid tabs must be handled through payment, refund, or transaction workflows instead.
